Orientation in Washington

The meeting in Washington was Nov. 15-Nov. 19. The first two days we spent with the fellows and speakers getting us oriented to what they would like to see happen in the field of deaf/blindness in the future. The last two days were spent in meetings with OSEP and Deaf/Blind National Consortium. These meetings were extremely informative with mounds of valuable information and sources beyond what I could have ever expected. I feel very blessed to be a part of such an incredible organization. I can't wait to see what we will encounter and learn next. This information can and will be carried out and used for a lifetime. If you aren't familiar with deaf/blindness, but would like to know about it, log on to dblink in the search engine and open your mind to a world of information and possibilities. Also, I would like to thank everyone involved in making this cohort possible for me. Plus, I want to give a shout out to the best cohort yet. We have a fabulous group who seem to bond and work together very well. These are my collegues and friends for life.
